WordPress Case Study – PIM

How we improved the website for PIM Global, supporting their mission to connect and inspire on a global scale.

Challenge

PIM Global needed a website that could show off their different programmes, reach people worldwide, attract new partners and talented individuals, and share the inspiring stories of their program participants. They needed a site that was fast and could work well in multiple languages.

Goal 1

To highlight PIM Global’s programs effectively, showcase them in a way that attracts new audiences and potential partners. Expand their network by bringing in more talented individuals, judges, and mentors.

Also, share stories about PIM and its participants through articles and special landing pages to increase visibility and support from governmental organisations.

Built for Speed

We built the site using WordPress to make it easy for the Pim team to update and manage their content. Because Pim’s audience is worldwide, we integrated a static site build and deploy process, that the Pim team can run themselves with the click of a button. This service distributes the Pim website at around 100s of points around the world – making the site extremely fast no matter whether you are visiting from New York, Sao Paolo, Hong Kong, Mumbai or Melbourne.

Built to Inspire

Available in both English and Chinese, the site is accessible to a wider audience. It showcases all of PIM’s programs and provides details about what they offer. Additionally, the site features articles and stories about people who have been inspired by PIM’s programs, helping to attract new talent, judges, and mentors.

Results

The new PIM Global website is a far cry from the old site – which was plagued with technical errors that put the PIM team off making updates. The new site is not only flexible but it’s also super fast, no longer do the PIM team hear complaints about the site being slow, or inaccessible. With this new foundation, PIM is now exploring how SEO can help bring more traffic to the website, in-turn introducing the next generation of innovators to their programs and helping pick up new partners and supporters along the way.
