WordPress Static Site Deploy Multilingual Performance

The Challenge

A global platform the team could run themselves

PIM Global needed a website that could show off their different programmes, reach people worldwide, attract new partners and talented individuals, and share the inspiring stories of their programme participants. They needed a site that was fast and could work well in multiple languages.

Client’s Goals

What success looked like

To highlight PIM Global’s programmes effectively and showcase them in a way that attracts new audiences and potential partners. To expand their network by bringing in more talented individuals, judges, and mentors. And to share stories about PIM and its participants through articles and special landing pages — increasing visibility and support from governmental organisations.

Our Approach

Built for speed, built to inspire

We built the site using WordPress to make it easy for the PIM team to update and manage their content. Because PIM’s audience is worldwide, we integrated a static site build-and-deploy process that the PIM team can run themselves with the click of a button. This distributes the PIM website across hundreds of points around the world — making the site extremely fast whether you’re visiting from New York, São Paulo, Hong Kong, Mumbai or Melbourne.

Available in both English and Chinese, the site is accessible to a wider audience. It showcases all of PIM’s programmes and provides details about what they offer, alongside articles and stories about people who have been inspired by PIM’s programmes — helping to attract new talent, judges, and mentors.

The Results

A fast, flexible foundation

The new PIM Global website is a far cry from the old site — which was plagued with technical errors that put the PIM team off making updates. The new site is not only flexible but super fast; no longer does the PIM team hear complaints about the site being slow or inaccessible.

With this new foundation, PIM is now exploring how SEO can help bring more traffic to the website — in turn introducing the next generation of innovators to their programmes and helping pick up new partners and supporters along the way.
